The Spirit Of Power
Coach Mitchell’s Breakdown:
The Apostle Paul wrote the letter of 2 Timothy with the intention of helping both believers and even non-believers to guard the precious Gospel faithfully. He urged them to approach this responsibility with hearts that are free of fear and worry, instead filled with trust and unwavering confidence in God’s divine plan for their lives. Paul was acutely aware that Timothy might have become fearful and uncertain about continuing the important ministry that Paul had initiated and nurtured prior to his own death. Therefore, he composed these heartfelt words as a source of comfort and reassurance, encouraging Timothy to boldly carry out the vital work of the Lord with courage and determination.
